 How will you make an impact? 

The Cornea Regional Business Manager (RBM) is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence within an assigned geographic territory. This role develops and executes strategic business plans to increase procedural utilization, support customer adoption of Glaukos corneal technologies, and achieve revenue objectives. The RBM serves as a trusted partner to physicians, administrators, and clinical staff by delivering commercial, operational, and educational support that enables successful integration of corneal therapies and procedures. Working closely with cross-functional partners, the RBM identifies growth opportunities, influences referral networks, and drives customer success through exceptional account management and execution. This role reports to the Area Director and collaborates with other commercial team members to advance organizational objectives and improve patient access to innovative corneal health solutions.

What will you do?

  • Achieve or exceed annual sales objectives for capital equipment, procedural utilization, and assigned territory growth. 
  • Develop and execute territory business plans designed to expand customer adoption and procedural volume. 
  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue new business opportunities utilizing market insights and customer needs assessments. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, practice administrators, technicians, and clinical staff. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by educating customers on corneal disease states, treatment options, and procedural best practices. 
  • Lead the successful integration of Corneal Cross-Linking (CXL) within customer practices, including workflow implementation, patient education, reimbursement processes, and marketing initiatives. 
  • Partner with field reimbursement, marketing, field service, clinical support, and local sales teams to maximize commercial success and customer satisfaction. 
  • Collaborate with optometric outreach and marketing teams to develop and execute referral development and educational programs. 
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, market conditions, and customer feedback to refine territory strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Influence and strengthen OD and MD referral networks to increase patient access and adoption of corneal procedures and therapies

How will you get here?

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant sales, business development, or healthcare commercial experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of ophthalmic medical device, surgical device, or pharmaceutical sales experience. 
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and territory growth objectives. 
  • Experience managing complex sales processes, customer adoption initiatives, and ongoing account support across multi-state geographies.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship management, and written communication skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Degree concentration in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field preferred.
