The Role

As an Administrative Assistant supporting the Resolution Strategies Initiative, you will serve as a key point of contact for internal teams and external partners while providing essential administrative and coordination support. You will help keep processes organized, communication flowing, and initiatives moving forward. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys supporting cross-functional work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Your Role in Supporting Program Coordination and Operations

  • Provide administrative support by preparing correspondence, reports, forms, invoices, and specialized documents.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to Resolution Strategies, responding professionally and directing requests as needed.
  • Coordinate scheduling, communication, and logistics for meetings, projects, and departmental activities.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical files in accordance with records management guidelines.
  • Process requests, purchase orders, and invoices using organizational systems and tools.
  • Track and reconcile program-related expenses and documentation.
  • Support meeting planning, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up on action items.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including mail and email.
  • Complete required trainings and follow organizational policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental goals.

Desirable Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Two (2) years of administrative or office support experience, preferably in a nonprofit, social services, healthcare, or community-based setting.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office technology.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
  • Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to meet required pre-employment and ongoing compliance requirements, including background checks and health screenings (reasonable accommodations considered).

 Key Competencies and Experience

  • Experience supporting administrative operations, coordination, or program support functions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to organize information, manage documentation, and track processes.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and with a customer-service mindset.
  • Experience supporting social services, housing, behavioral health, or community-based programs.
  • A valid driver’s license is preferred to support occasional travel between locations. 
  • Familiarity with purchase orders, invoicing, or expense tracking processes.
  • Experience working in cross-departmental or initiative-based projects.

 

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, typically 40 hours per week, scheduled Monday through Friday. Work hours may vary slightly based on program and departmental needs.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. The anticipated starting pay range for this role is $21.30 to $23.31 per hour.
