About the Role:

United Truck Driving School in San Diego, CA is looking for a passionate and experienced CDL Class A Driver Instructor to help shape the next generation of professional truck drivers. Responsibilities:

Instruct students in CDL Class A driving techniques, including pre-trip inspections, airbrakes, backing maneuvers, and public road driving
Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
Prepare students for the California DMV CDL skills examinations
Maintain accurate student records, training logs, and progress reports
Ensure all training vehicles are properly inspected and maintained before use
Uphold a safe, professional, and supportive learning environment at all times

Requirements:

Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
Passenger endorsement is a plus!
Minimum 3 years of commercial truck driving experience
Reliable, responsible, punctual, positive attitude, motivated
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for teaching
Patient, professional demeanor with the ability to work with students of varying skill levels
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education a plus
