We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead revenue cycle operations across our California market. This is a hybrid position for a candidate located in California who can travel to Ivy Fertility centers as needed. Position Summary Reporting to the Chief Revenue Cycle Officer, the Director of Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for leading revenue cycle operations, staff, systems, and processes that support multiple fertility centers and payer relationships. This leader will drive operational excellence, strengthen financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop strategies that optimize the revenue cycle across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong healthcare revenue cycle leadership experience, a data-driven approach, and the ability to lead teams through change while maintaining a focus on patient experience and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of revenue cycle strategies and best practices across the California market. Oversee accounts receivable, denials management, collections, billing operations, and cash posting functions. Monitor and drive performance against key metrics including A/R days, cash collections, clean claim rates, denials, and bad debt reduction. Partner with clinical, operational, and finance leaders to optimize revenue integrity and billing compliance. Develop and enhance reporting, analytics, and data validation processes to support informed business decisions. Collaborate with Finance on year-end audits and support internal and external audit requirements. Ensure compliance with federal, state, payer, and regulatory requirements. Evaluate healthcare and revenue cycle trends and recommend process improvements and strategic initiatives. Foster strong partnerships across departments to drive operational efficiency and positive financial outcomes. Monitor staff productivity and implement process improvements to achieve performance goals. Maintain industry-standard collection performance and oversee A/R aging management. Other duties as assigned. Leadership Responsibilities Provide leadership, coaching, and development for revenue cycle team members. Manage workforce planning, performance management, training, and employee engagement initiatives. Establish accountability through clear goals, performance metrics, and ongoing feedback. Promote a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management. Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, reimbursement, claims management, collections, and revenue cycle operations. Experience managing revenue cycle teams and driving measurable operational improvements. Advanced analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency with Excel and revenue cycle metrics. Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities. Preferred Experience in women's health, fertility, or other specialty healthcare environments. Certified Professional Medical Coder (CPC) or Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) certification. Experience leading multi-site revenue cycle operations. Travel Requirements Occasional travel to Ivy Fertility administrative offices and clinic locations within California and other markets as needed (up to 10%).
