The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position.  The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices. 


 


What You Will Do
Maintain eligibility files for processing, loading and extraction. Monitor and maintain security for all eligibility websites. Provide technical assistance to all department staff. Analyze complex eligibility issues.

Required Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent


Essential Functions

  • Eligibility file audits
    Identify, correct and report to supervisor any training deficiencies, file process errors or edit errors identified.
    Compile and report audit results to supervisor within 5 working days from month end.
  • File management
    Assist with monitoring and controlling daily eligibility files to insure completion of all activity reports and eligibility tape edit reports before next monthly tape run.
    Prepare incoming files for loading.
  • IDX audits
    Create and analyze files using Excel.
    Research discrepancies.
  • Teamwork
    Demonstrate cooperation/teamwork by participating in achieving departmental goals, promoting cooperation with co-workers and other departments, communicating courteously with co-workers, accurate and timely submission of production reports and time cards.
  • Technical assistance
    Provide technical assistance to all department staff for PCs, IDX and eligibility files.
    Research and analyze complex eligibility issues.
  • Time management
    Demonstrate ability to work independently and manage time well with any free time used to help in other areas as directed, inform supervisor when available for additional work assignments.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of eligibility and eligibility processes
  • Proficient in Excel, FTP, Access and Excel Macros
  • Ability to manipulate and convert various types of large data files
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in all aspects of PC functions and operations
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical details to non-technical people.
  • Experience in eligibility processes and guidelines.
  • Expertise and experience with using IDX, Excel, FTP, Access.
  • Ability to effectively manage and complete multiple tasks.
  • Strong aptitude for solving system problems with a friendly capable customer service orientation.
  • Perform other duties as directed.
