Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our Overnight Intermediate Care/Patient Care Team .

About the Job:Â Â As a Vet Tech in the Intermediate Care/Patient Care department you will be responsible for:
- Collecting samples, placing IV catheters, prepare IV fluids and additives
- Administering medication
- Measuring blood pressure
- Must be able to prioritize procedures and delegate tasks. Triage emergencies, prepare and present estimates, admit patients to the hospital, discharge patients.Â
- Assist in preparing diagnostics including radiographs and labwork
- Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Demonstrate compassion in all levels of patient care
Shift Info:Â Overnight days TBD 3/12 hour shifts
About You:
- RVT's:Â 2 - 3 years' experience in a progressive veterinary hospital required.
- VA's:Â 3 - 4 years' experience in a progressive veterinary hospital required.
- RVT preferred
- VA graduate from accredited program will be considered
Pay Scale:
- VA:Â $23 - $30/hr
- RVT:Â $26 - $35/hr
- VTS:Â $38 - $50/hr
