As a member of our corporate security team, the Manager – Business Resiliency and Security Operations will be responsible for leading mature, enterprise-wide programs spanning crisis management, emergency response, emergency preparedness, training, and critical-event technology developing. This includes but is not limited to emergency response processes/procedure, crisis management processes/procedures, site threat assessments, ER/CM planning, exercises, automating processes (where possible), employee training programs, etc.  The position will also coordinate with event security, travel security, executive protection and administer industry and government/industry regulated security programs (e.g., ISO, OSHA, etc.); while establishing and conducting audit processes with various partners, functional areas, Safety, Security Systems Integration, and Physical Security, to pressure test processes and meet customer (internal and external) requirements.

The Manager – Business Resiliency and Security Operations will be responsible in the following:

  • Crisis Management and Critical Event Operations: Own and continuously improve the enterprise crisis management framework, including plans, playbooks, governance, activation protocols, executive support, after-action reviews, and lessons learned. Lead or coordinate response during events that may affect employees, facilities, travelers, reputation, or operations.

  • Emergency Response and Site Readiness: Develop and standardize emergency response capabilities and Emergency Action Plans across sites. Advise site leaders and points of contact, strengthen response roles and procedures, and ensure practical alignment with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.

  • Security Operations: Oversee physical security programs, policies, and procedures across office locations. Manage third-party security provider to ensure quality service delivery, budget, and alignment with organizational expectations. Provide guidance and operational support to regional sites on security best practices and compliance.

  • Emergency Preparedness and Employee Engagement: Build a proactive culture of readiness through timely preparedness content, employee resources, newsletters, awareness campaigns, exercises, and engagement events. Develop practical, all-hazards preparedness programming that equips employees with self-aid skills and actionable guidance in personal and residential security, situational awareness, travel safety, and other relevant risk and resilience topics.

  • Critical Event Management Technology: Serve as a business owner and power user for the Critical Event Management platform and emergency notification capabilities. Design dashboards, workflows, data structures, and user experiences that enable faster collaboration, communication, escalation, and decision-making.

  • Training, Exercises, and Continuous Improvement: Create and deliver role-based training for crisis teams, site leaders, security personnel, business partners, and the broader employee population. Training may include all-hazards self-aid, personal and residential security, situational awareness, travel safety, emergency procedures, and other evolving preparedness needs. Plan exercises that pressure-test plans, systems, and decision-making, then convert findings into accountable improvement actions.

  • Gather and analyze data and make recommendations on operational improvements and risk mitigation to business units. Provide support to business partner engagements, functional areas, and initiatives related to Travel/Event Security, Transportation Security, Workplace Violence Prevention, Special/Sensitive Investigations, and Security Compliance.

  • Support efforts in Intelligence, GSOC, Travel Security, Event Security, and Executive Protection programs.

  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners and peer groups.

                             

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (emergency management, business administration, homeland security, crisis management, analytics, intelligence, etc.) is required.

  • Industry Certification such as PSP, or CPP (or USG/USMIL equivalent cert/s) AND a relevant Resiliency/Crisis Management related Certification (i.e., CCMC, AEM, CEM, CBCP, etc.)            

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience and proficiency in the following areas:

    • Emergency response, emergency management, and/or crisis management related functions in military, government (local or federal), or large corporate security setting

    • Building and/or executing security or safety related programs, with demonstrated delivery of finished/refined products

    • Conducting complex security operations domestically and/or internationally

    • Writing reports utilizing proper writing mechanics, grammar, clear/consistent formatting, and punctuation.

  • Prior experience conducting security and/or threat reviews/assessments, developing emergency/crisis response related policies and procedures, and advising on Safety and Security practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (emergency management, business administration, homeland security, crisis management, analytics, intelligence, etc.) is required

  • Preferred Military, Government, or Security experience.

  • Strong project management experience.

  • Strong speaking/presentation skills and experience in delivering security solutions to key leaders and c-suite.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $ 96,614.00 to $141,701.89. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. 

In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus plan, which is based on company performance and is not guaranteed, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave.
