Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a āFacilities Technicianā based out of San Diego, CA.
Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate: $39/hr on W2Ā

Summary
In this role, you will support lab, office, and GMP facility operations in a fast-paced biotech environment. And you will be responsible for maintaining building systems, responding to maintenance requests, supporting utilities, and ensuring smooth facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Support building utilities and lab operations
- Respond to work orders and facility alarms
- Maintain maintenance logs and CMMS documentation
- Coordinate with outside vendors and service providers
- Support GMP and laboratory environments
Qualifications
- 4+ years of facilities maintenance experience
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, GMP, or lab environments preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC, building utilities, and maintenance systems
- Experience with CMMS/BMS systems such as Siemens Desigo preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
