Job DetailsJob Location: San Diego, CA 92109Salary Range: $20.25 - $21.00 HourlyMission Bay RV Resort is a destination RV and tent camping resort. Located in the Pacific Beach neighborhood of San Diego, MBRVR occupies approximately 30 prime acres on Mission Bay at De Anza Cove. We seek a second shift (3:30 p.m. - midnight) gate attendant. This role performs the vital job of supporting our security guards as well as welcoming and registering all vehicles upon entering and exiting the resort, maintaining a constant coverage at the gate and collecting parking fees. Other duties may be assigned. Hours per week may vary depending on business needs. In addition. You must be available to work weekends and holidays. Essential Functions: Report to work on time and in uniform for all scheduled shifts. Fill out all required paperwork for late arrivals following established procedures and policies. Respond to guest requests for assistance. Assure that gate traffic flows smoothly and timely. Stay informed about groups arriving and departing as well as special events. When the front office closes, answer incoming calls, assist callers with requests for information, and take messages when needed. Know and perform emergency procedures as required. Dispatch security over the radio when made aware of park incidents. Maintain an enthusiastic and helpful attitude whenever dealing with guests, resort management or other employees. Smile and greet any guests encountered throughout resort property. Report immediately any safety hazards or guest or employee injuries to management, make recommendations to eliminate future liabilities. QualificationsRequires high school education or equivalent, or experience and/or training sufficient to perform job functions.
