Description
As the Mail Data Foundations Engineering Manager, you will lead the team responsible for Apple's connectivity to the world's email providers, as well as Calendar, Reminders, Notes, and Contacts for our Microsoft enterprise customers. Your leadership will ensure data integrity across all providers, enabling the intelligence features that define the modern Mail experience. You will serve as a key site leader for Apple's Mail engineering presence in San Diego.

Preferred Qualifications
You have some experience with email and communication protocols (e.g., IMAP, SMTP, EWS, CardDAV, CalDAV) and a strong grasp of client/server communication patterns. You have experience working directly with external partners or third-party services, including negotiating technical integrations and navigating provider-specific constraints. You have a strong testing philosophy and experience leading or closely collaborating with engineers in test and triage roles, with an emphasis on reliability and data integrity. You are energized by site-level leadership and the opportunity to help build and scale an engineering location.
