- Full Time Position: 40 hours per week
- Compensation: $28.00-30.00/hr
- Responsibilities: Roving to different properties across San Diego Area

Job Summary:
A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the rental properties in excellent condition, both inside and out. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, highly customer focused, technically skilled, fast moving, and technologically proficient. This position services multiple properties.Â
Essential Job Functions – Position Requirements:
- Troubleshoot, assess, repair, and replace HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliancesÂ
- Conduct preventative maintenance on the properties or within the unitsÂ
- Repair or replace floors, ceilings, walls, siding, doors, door hardware, windows, window screens, and other general building itemsÂ
- Maintain accurate record of daily maintenance records and action itemsÂ
- Interact with vendors and suppliers in a professional mannerÂ
- Provide exceptional customer service to the team and residentsÂ
- Support Fairgrove Property Management's mission and valuesÂ
- Communicate in a timely and effective mannerÂ
- Complete emergency and routine service requestsÂ
- Turnover make ready tasksÂ
- Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new move-ins.Â
- Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash as needed.Â
- Utilize computer, tablet and smart phone software and applicationsÂ
- Perform other tasks as requested
- After hours emergency response as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in property management or a related field, with customer service experienceÂ
- Strong knowledge of computers and technology including cloud-based software and applicationsÂ
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365Â
- Great communication skillsÂ
- Organized and able to manage work orders for multiple prioritiesÂ
- Honest, Trustworthy & AccountableÂ
- Clean driving record with valid driver’s licenseÂ
- Dependable transportation
- Provide own tools to complete work orders
