Job Description

As a Security Officer - Luxury Retail in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a premier retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service. You will communicate professionally with shoppers, staff, and visitors while supporting a positive environment. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and retail associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support controlled entry for employees, vendors, deliveries, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
