QualificationsÂ
Preferred candidate will have a minimum of 3 - 5-years’ experience as a Party Crew Chief, plus an A.S. in surveying or equivalent work experience of seven years. LSIT OR RLS a plus.
Experience must include construction performance, topographical, boundary, and aerial control surveys.
- Proven ability to perform coordinate geometry calculations using hand-held programmable calculator and direct the work of others.
- Must be familiar with use and maintenance of survey equipment including total stations and GPS systems. Familiarity with Trimble Access a plus.
- Preparation of cut sheets and demonstrated ability to read construction plans.
- Position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for 8 to 10 hours per day and swing an 8 lb. sledgehammer.
- Candidate must be dependable and display the ability to work well with others as they will be on a survey team.Â
- Candidate will have experience dealing effectively with clients and contractors.
- Good driving record is a must.
- Position will require periodic out of town work. Typical travel is 2-3 days once every 3 months. There is opportunity for extended out of town work and recommend applying if this is of interest.Â
