Propulsion Controls Engineering has multiple positions open for Welder Journeyman, with a minimum of five years marine and/or shipyard experience; supporting our San Diego, California location. PCE is a full service electro-mechanical repair and diesel repair contractor.  PCE has garnered a wealth of extensive experience in successfully executing major system overhauls across numerous ports throughout the world on virtually every class of ship currently in operation
Job Summary / Welder Journeyman:
Welder with advanced knowledge of FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and BRAZE and the ability to determine proper weld joint design without Supervision. Basic knowledge of fittings preferred. Â Performs other related tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements and Experience:
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
- Minimum 5 years of marine and/or shipyard experience preferred.
