X-Ray Technician

The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic imaging skills, excellent patient-care abilities, and a commitment to providing safe and accurate radiologic services in a fast-paced military healthcare environment.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Properly position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Review images for quality and ensure studies are completed accurately.
• Follow radiation safety, infection-control, and patient-safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

Qualifications: 

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current applicable Radiologic Technologist certification and/or state licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Previous diagnostic X-ray experience preferred.

Location: Naval Medical Center San Diego - San Diego, CA

Compensation: $50.00/HR
