Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional for Service Desk. The Security Service Desk Officer must have technical proficiency with computers and office applications. Responsible for verifying access and control, badge credentialing and issuance and completing security audits, inspections as assigned. You will be the first point of contact for associates and non-associates seeking badges and will be responsible for ensuring proper request forms have been completed and submitted according to policy. You will also be responsible for providing up-to-date information regarding badge status and facility access to management, and explaining badge denial, credentialing issues, or concerns to requestors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the daily flow of vendors, employees, and contractors at the service desk.
  • Provide assistance and support to all visitors, ensuring they follow security protocols.
  • Utilize ServiceNow (SNOW) for detailed service requests. Verify completed trainings for specific rooms.
  • Operate Lenel security systems for access control.
  • Handle Outlook emails for communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service desk activities and incidents.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to all visitors and staff.

Daily Responsibilities:

1. Awareness and knowledge of the different badge types, including:

  • General Vendor Badges
  • Non-Pictured Vendor Badges
  • Pictured Vendor Badges
  • Reserved Badges
  • Employee Badges
  • Contractor Badges
  • 2-Day Temporary Badges

2. Utilize various applications to perform daily service desk duties, such as:

  • Lenel On-guard Enterprise
  • Workday
  • ServiceNow
  • Archibus (Room Finder)
  • Envoy (Visitor/vendor sign-in)
  • Badge tracking log (Google Doc)
  • Excel
  • Live GOAT (Excel) for tracking area owners and room trainings
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Outlook emails
  • Microsoft Word
  • Expectant Mother Parking log (Excel)
  • Key Box Management log/ Inventory of keys

3.Extra duties preformed at security service desk

  • Storage of employee luggage
  • Troubleshoot Badge readers/Door Mechanisms
  • Stock office supplies
  • Creating badge access tickets for employees
  • Badging reports based on request

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a Security Access/Control, Service Desk Officer or similar role.
  • Experience utilizing applications such as ServiceNow (SNOW), Lenel security systems or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of Outlook email management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior military or civilian law enforcement experience
  • College degree in Criminal Justice
