Summary
This position supports the VP of Construction and Design and the Real Estate Development Department, collaborating with teams in real estate, design, store opening project management as well as remodel project management. The role is crucial in driving new franchise store development and remodel projects across our brand portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include managing costs, optimizing schedules, managing vendors, document control, forecasting, and cost/schedule reporting.

Purpose/Impact:Â (Duties & Essential Functions)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on letter-of-intent and lease work letter revisions and contractor selection for franchise BID introductions and select corporate projects.
- Manage the bidding process, general contractor criteria and tools which support on-time and on-budget projects and maintain project pipeline reporting.
- Manage construction project management vendors, ensuring they deliver project budgets, schedules, and milestones, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Support vendor bidding processes, ensuring compliance and accurate financial management.
- Coordinate between real estate, design and store open project managers project documentation reporting and workflow, throughout the new store development process.
- Support the successful project closeout, including punch-list completion and T&I recapture.
- Ad hoc projects, and other duties as assigned.
Strengths:
- Relationship management software such as SmartSheet, FranDev, Salesforce
- Construction management software such as ProCore, RSMeans.
- Knowledge of general and sub-contractor management and cost estimation
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Results Driven and service oriented.
Background:
- BA/BS or associate’s degree in construction or related field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years construction management or project management experience.
- Management of retail lease portfolio in multiple states and with multiple landlords
Salary Range: $90k - $110k
