Spira Manufacturing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician 1 who will be responsible for supporting various aspects of the production process, ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate production of high-quality products.

Job Accountabilities:

Perform station and machine setups as requested.
Perform production processes as outlined in written company procedures and/or as instructed by supervisor.
Accurately fill out production work travelers.
Follow safety rules as written in Safety Manual and discussed in Safety Meetings.
Use manufacturing computer for time and project tracking.
Keep workstation clean and tidy. Ensure no tools in assigned toolbox are lost.
Perform cleanup daily as requested.
Perform other duties as requested.

Job Specifications:

Education: HS Diploma/GED Equivalent or a combination of equivalent relevant work experience required

Years Experience: 1+ years of experience in manufacturing/production environment

Skills:

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety standards.
Ability to work while wearing a respirator / safety PPE to minimize exposure to some chemicals.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to operate and maintain production machinery and equipment.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
