Why this role is important to usĀ
We are looking for aĀ Product Specialist, withĀ expertiseĀ inĀ riskĀ models and optimizationĀ who would be part of our Americas Solution Engineering Team. TheĀ Solutions Engineering (āPost Salesā) team is focused on the quantitative parts of the investment process across risk, performance attribution, and portfolio optimization.Ā

You will act as a key subject matter expertĀ on behalf of the firm. You will consult withĀ clients and prospectsĀ on how best toĀ utilizeĀ and gain value fromĀ theĀ AxiomaĀ riskĀ and optimizationĀ solutions.Ā You willĀ work directly with the CustomerĀ Success team inĀ navigating complex riskĀ andĀ optimizationĀ use-cases across asset managers, asset owners, and hedge funds. This role is also critical to bringing feedback to the product team to enhance the product.Ā

What you willĀ be responsible forĀ
Work with a dedicated list of existing clients to build long-term relationships, help them extract maximum value from Axioma products, and ensure high level productĀ utilization, resulting in high retention.Ā
ProvideĀ subject-matterĀ expertiseĀ on optimization, risk models, APIs, and portfolio analytics.Ā
Work directly withĀ productĀ team to influence product enhancements and improvements, guided by client feedback and personal experience. And educate clients on new product features relevant to their subscription.Ā
Work with prospective clients to help them understand the unique value of Axioma products.Ā
Understand prospective clientsā needs and current workflows and train them on the effective use of software and risk models.Ā
Guide prospective clients on implementing Axioma's advanced tools (custom models, multiple risk models in single optimizations, etc.) to achieve superior results.Ā
Team with implementation experts on product installation and integration in client environments.Ā
Coordinate and involveĀ additionalĀ subject matter experts to ensure clients have answers to important questions inĀ a timelyĀ fashion.Ā
Provide feedback to the Product Management team in ongoing efforts to improve and expand Axiomaās product capabilities.Ā
Ā
What we valueĀ
Degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, finance, econometrics, or operations research.Ā
3+ years of experience in quantitative financeĀ
Experience with portfolio optimization, analytics, and performance attributionĀ
Experience with factor risk modelsĀ
Understanding of the use of APIs (Java, Python, R, Webservices,Ā Matlab) is a plusĀ
Strong oral and written communication skillsĀ
Strong problem-solving skillsĀ
Willingness to travel asĀ required.Ā
Flexibility to attendĀ SimCorpĀ office 2x/week as per our hybrid policy.Ā Ā Ā

Ā For New York City only: The salary range for this position isĀ $156,000-200,000Ā USD. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. Your total compensation may vary based onĀ role, location,Ā departmentĀ and individual performance.Ā
