About the role
As a Mulesoft Architect, you will make an impact by leading the design and development of MuleSoft integrations to ensure seamless data flow across systems. You will be a valued member of the Mulesoft practice and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the design and development of MuleSoft integrations to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Define and govern end-to-end integration architecture using MuleSoft, including API-led connectivity (System, Process, and Experience layers), ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership by setting MuleSoft best practices, conducting design and code reviews, and establishing reusable assets.
- Oversee implementation of data standards and data quality measures to maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

What you need to have to be considered
- Expertise in Cloud, API, API Management, SOA, ESB, REST.
- Strong experience with MuleSoft API Management and API security solutions such as JWT, OAuth 2.0, Multifactor Authentication, WSSecurity, SAML.
- Hands-on experience with CloudHub 2.0 and Runtime Fabric (RTF).
- Proven ability to lead integration architecture and enforce data standards.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
These will help you stand out
- MuleSoft Architect Certification.
- Exposure to at least one cloud platform.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing MuleSoft integrations.
- Familiarity with industry trends and latest MuleSoft features.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000pa – $175,000 pa depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
