Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Barista to join our mobile coffee bar in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality coffee and beverage experiences, provide exceptional guest service, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to specialty coffee culture. This role is perfect for someone passionate about coffee, attentive to detail, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take beverage and food orders with a positive, professional attitude.
• Prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold beverages including espresso-based drinks, iced coffees, teas, and specialty beverages per company standards and recipes.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, blenders, and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Accurately handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions, including cash and digital payments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines including proper food handling protocols.
• Collaborate with teammates to support a smooth and efficient workflow.

Requirements

• 1+ years barista, coffee, or hospitality experience. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to ~30 pounds.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with POS systems (e.g., Toast, Square).
• California Food Handler’s Card.
