We are seeking a highly motivated financial analyst to support our tenant representation brokerage team, which works exclusively with high-growth technology companies in the Bay Area. This role involves building comprehensive financial models, analyzing transaction proposals, and providing analytical support for office leasing and acquisition transactions. The ideal candidate will deliver quality, efficient financial analysis that meets client requirements, supports serviced office evaluations, and equips our team with the analytical tools and insights needed to execute complex real estate transactions across multiple markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Build and maintain financial models for lease vs. purchase analyses, investment returns, and transaction comparisons
Analyze and compare multiple real estate proposals, including lease terms, incentive packages, and total occupancy cost scenarios
Support serviced office and flexible workspace transactions with market analysis, cost comparisons, and financial structuring
Conduct market research and financial analysis on office properties across various markets and jurisdictions
Prepare financial summaries and investment memoranda for client presentations and internal decision-making
Develop and maintain proprietary financial analysis tools and templates for recurring transaction types
Support portfolio analysis and strategic planning initiatives for multiple clients
Core Competencies
- Ability to problem-solve and exercise independent judgement while displaying a high degree of initiative and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize projects and complete multiple tasks on schedule.
- Ability to work productively under minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially EXCEL and Word and the Google Suite
- Strong work ethic.
- Proactive team player able to work efficiently under sometime stressful conditions.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or other related fields
- 2+ years experience
- CFA or CPA certification required
- GSE Experience a plus
- In office a minimum of 4 days per week
Salary Range Language
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $80,00 to $115,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
