JOB SUMMARY
This job requires providing support to clinical staff and supervisors as appropriate to promote patient care by taking on any task and/or assignment as indicated, including assisting patients with activities of daily living, monitoring and observation, transport, documentation, answering phones/doors and other clerical duties as assigned.Â

When assigned to the front desk area, this job provides minimal essential coverage of, reception, patient registration and medical record services support, under the direction of the appropriate supervisor, or the Director of Clinical Operations. This includes both routine activities (monitoring the front desk and lobby entrances) and tasks which vary in volume and nature.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
