About Hike Medical

Hike is building the operating system for device-based care. We make software and hardware for the $60B+ DMEPOS market: Hike Intelligence automates intake and revenue cycle with AI agents, Hike Clinical runs point of care, and SoleForge, our 65,000 sq ft facility in Peoria, IL, 3D prints custom medical devices at a scale few facilities in North America can match.

We raised $22M from investors including SAGA Ventures, founded by Max Altman. Our founder's family has worked in orthotics and prosthetics for three generations, and we know these workflows better than anyone in the world. We build for clinicians because we come from them.

The opportunity

Outbound already works at Hike. Cold outreach books meetings, meetings turn into pipeline, and pipeline turns into national partnerships. We proved the motion. Now we need someone to pour fuel on the fire.

That is the job. Take a working playbook, make it 10x bigger, and make it better while you scale it. This is not a zero-to-one role where you spend a year finding message-market fit. The message lands. The market is wide open. The clinics we sell to have never been sold to well, and we are early in a market with no default software vendor.

You will own top of funnel for the company. Not manage it. Own it. Every qualified meeting on an AE calendar traces back to your team, your campaigns, and your playbook. You report directly to leadership and carry a pipeline number.

This is a three-part job:

1. Build and lead the SDR team. Recruit, hire, ramp, and manage SDRs. Set quotas, run standups, coach calls, and hold the bar. You inherit reps who are already booking meetings. Your job is to grow the team into a machine.

2. Scale outbound as a system. Own targeting, sequencing, messaging, channel mix, and the tooling stack. Sharpen what works and add what's missing. Podiatry practices, O&P clinics, and DME providers do not respond to generic SaaS outreach. You will run campaigns that actually land with clinicians: direct mail with a 3D-printed insole in the box, event-driven plays around industry conferences, provider-to-provider referral loops, whatever works.

3. Sell. You carry your own book alongside the team. You prospect, cold call, and book meetings yourself. If you have not written a cold email in two years, this is not your job.

What you will do

  • Hire and manage a team of SDRs, scaling headcount as pipeline converts

  • Own the meetings-booked and qualified-pipeline number for the company

  • Take our proven sequences and campaigns and multiply their volume without losing quality

  • Design and run multi-channel campaigns across phone, email, LinkedIn, direct mail, and events

  • Harden the outbound playbook: ICP definition, messaging by persona, objection handling, sequences

  • Own the outbound tech stack and keep CRM data clean enough to trust

  • Report weekly on pipeline metrics with real numbers, not vibes

  • Partner with marketing on campaign creative and with AEs on handoff quality

  • Recruit continuously. Your bench is your job security.

What we need

  • 5+ years in B2B sales development, including 2+ years managing SDRs or BDRs

  • A track record you can show in numbers: quota attainment, meetings booked, pipeline sourced, reps promoted

  • You have scaled an outbound motion before, not just maintained one

  • Strong writer. Your sequences will be read by physicians and clinic owners.

  • Fluent in modern outbound tooling and comfortable putting AI to work on research, personalization, and ops

  • Healthcare, medtech, or DME experience is a plus, not a requirement. Hunger to learn the market is required.

  • In person in San Francisco

Why this role

  • A motion that already works. You scale a fire, you don't start one.

  • Direct line to the CEO and a seat in go-to-market strategy, not a middle-management layer

  • A product clinics actually want, backed by a manufacturing operation you can put in a prospect's hands

  • Clear path to VP-level scope as the team scales

  • Top-of-market comp: $140K-$170K base, $200K-$250K OTE, equity, full benefits
