Benefits: 

•  $24.00/hour for Unarmed
•  This is for a ON-CALL, backup/relief position only!

We are a drug free workplace. 

Duties/Responsibilities:  

•  Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents. 
•  Conduct regular patrols. 
•  Monitor activities. 
•  Surveillance  
•  Access Control 
•  Safety escorts 
•  Using provided communication devices. 
•  Represent SSNW’s brand. 
•  Properly wear the issued uniform 
•  Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR) 
•  Complete Incident Reports 
•  Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services 
•  Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures.  
•  Other duties as described in the Post Orders 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

•  Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have a clean criminal record and driving record
• Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting.   
•  Reliable transportation 
•  Honesty and Integrity 
•  Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays. 
•  Must hold a current CA BSIS Security Guard License 
•  Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations. 

Education and Experience: 

•  High School Diploma or Equivalent 
•  3-10 years of military, law enforcement or security experience (or a combination)
•  Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment 
•  OC Certified
•  Handcuff Certified 

Physical Requirements: 

•  Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols. 
•  Able to stand 8-12 hours a day. 
•  Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times (occasionally).
