Sonic Summary

info
  • Hyperbound is seeking an enterprise sales professional with 5+ years of total closing experience, including at least 2 years in enterprise sales.
  • The role involves closing deals ranging from $100K to $500K+ ACV, managing complex sales cycles, and building outbound sales motions.
  • Compensation includes a salary of OTE $320K–$360K, along with equity ranging from 0.05% to 0.1% and various benefits like unlimited PTO and health coverage.
  • Candidates should be comfortable building in ambiguity and have a strong executive presence to navigate multi-stakeholder buying committees.
  • The position offers real ownership over the sales process and the opportunity to shape the sales playbook as the company grows toward Series B.

The Reality

This isn't a role where you disappear into your calendar and resurface at the quarterly business review. You'll be closing $100K–$500K+ ACV deals, getting your own calls scored by our own product in the process, in a room where the founders can see the pipeline move in real time.

There's no fully built enterprise playbook waiting for you here. You'll write it as you go: how we handle multi-stakeholder buying committees, how outbound scales past founder-led sales, what a repeatable six-figure deal actually looks like at Hyperbound. If you want a seat that's already been shaped for you, this isn't it. If you've been the person quietly building the playbook other reps just follow, this is that room, finally with your name on it.

The upside: real ACVs, real ownership over how enterprise sales gets built here, and a direct line to the people making product and GTM calls. Close a deal and the whole building knows by lunch.

What We're Building

Hyperbound is the Revenue Activation Platform and agentic operating system for sales. We invented AI sales roleplay, and we've built past it: Hyperbound Practice, Hyperbound Perform, and Kota, our AI agent, work together to close the loop between behavior, coaching, and execution. As we put it internally, we don't just record what happens on a call, we change what happens next.

Founded in 2023 out of YC (S23), we've raised $18M total, including a $15M Series A led by Peak XV Partners. Last quarter we doubled headcount, revenue nearly doubled with it, and net revenue retention landed above 300%. Teams at LinkedIn, Workday, Vanta, and Intel run their sales orgs on us.

The Role

You'll own full-cycle enterprise deals at Hyperbound, from first contact to signed contract, closing $100K–$500K+ ACV agreements across a roughly even mix of inbound and outbound. You'll build and run your own outbound motion, not just work leads that land in your inbox, and navigate the multi-stakeholder buying committees that come with selling into enterprise sales orgs.

You'll also help build the sales motion itself. We're pre-Series B, so a good amount of what a "normal" playbook looks like here still gets written by the people running the deals, including you. Expect travel for conferences and customer on-sites when it accelerates or closes a deal, and expect to work directly with founders and GTM leadership on strategy, not just deal reviews.

What you'll do

  • Close enterprise deals ranging from $100K to multiple six figures ACV, split roughly evenly between inbound and outbound

  • Run complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first contact to signed contract

  • Source your own pipeline and build outbound motions that scale beyond you

  • Shape sales playbooks and GTM strategy as we build toward Series B

  • Travel to conferences and customer on-sites to accelerate and close deals

  • Partner directly with founders and GTM leadership on deals and strategy

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of total closing experience, including 2+ years in enterprise sales

  • A track record of sourcing your own pipeline and running full-cycle enterprise deals

  • Comfort building in ambiguity: you've helped design sales playbooks, not just followed them

  • Strong executive presence and the ability to navigate complex buying committees

  • A bias toward ownership: you want high impact and you're not waiting to be handed a playbook

Bonus points

  • Prior startup, founder, or high-growth (Series A to B) experience

  • Experience selling into sales or revenue orgs

  • Familiarity with AI or sales tech categories

The Team

We're building a cracked GTM team of hunters. Many of the people here are former co founders. Early customers have joined us. We've even hire people from our competition.

You'll work closely with Isaac (VP Sales), and the founders directly, not through three layers of management.

We work hard and we celebrate for real. After our Series A we took the team to Bali.

Whiteboards get erased and rewritten constantly, and someone is usually closing something the same week they started chasing it. At the same time, this isn't a mattress-under-your-desk startup: plenty of people here have kids, people leave to make dinner, and they come back the next morning and sell. High standards don't require burnout.

We've doubled in size since this photo was taken.

Ownership and Equity

You own your deals end to end: the pipeline you built, the number you hit, and the credit that comes with it. Nobody here shields you from the outcome, good or bad. Equity for this role is meaningful (0.05% to 0.1%), with real secondary opportunities, and we want the people who help build this GTM engine early to end up rewarded for it.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: OTE $320K–$360K, plus quarterly accelerators and cash bonuses. Final offer based on experience and location.

  • Equity: 0.05% to 0.1%

  • Health: medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Office: in-office in SF with daily lunches, plus commuter and parking benefits

The Interview Process

  1. Recruiter screen with James Eide, Founding Recruiter (30 min)

  2. Behavioral interview with Mason Smith, Chief of Staff (30 min)

  3. Take-home assessment: discovery call breakdown, account plan, and an AI-powered mock discovery call roleplay on hyperbound.ai

  4. Post-assessment review with Isaac Hong, VP Sales (45 min)

  5. On-site final interview with co-founders and GTM team in SF (60 min)

  6. References and offer

We move fast, from first conversation to offer in 1 to 2 weeks, and we'll be transparent with you at every stage.

Hyperbound is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
