About the Role

We're looking for a Founding Head of GTM to own go-to-market strategy and brand positioning from the ground up at an early-stage ambient AI startup building at the intersection of hardware, software, and personal productivity. This is a full-stack, player/coach seat — strategy and execution, funnel and story — with a direct impact on how we move from beta to launch and who we reach first.

You'll be one of the earliest hires, shaping the company's voice, narrative, and growth engine before we scale. If you thrive in 0→1 environments, are energized by ambiguity, and have a track record of launching startups into the market with zero brand equity and zero budget to waste, this role is for you.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Own GTM strategy end-to-end: design funnel logic, sequence beta-to-launch phases, and mix channels including founder-led outreach, KOL activation, community platforms, and product launch platforms (Product Hunt, Hacker News).

  • Build brand narrative, voice, and positioning from scratch — find the angles that make the product thesis land and validate the real early-adopter audience.

  • Construct a working beta acquisition funnel, measure conversion by channel, and reallocate effort based on what's working.

  • Direct and coach anyone else touching GTM or marketing (contractors, future hires) in a player/coach capacity — you lead, not split.

  • Build a repeatable GTM and brand playbook the team can scale post-launch.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves (dealbreakers if absent):

  • 3+ years owning GTM execution and brand/positioning end-to-end for a startup launch (seed to Series A/B stage) — the full stack, not just one half.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and optimize multi-channel beta-to-launch acquisition funnels with channel-level conversion analysis and reallocation.

  • Proven experience developing brand narrative, positioning, and voice from scratch that resonates with early-adopter audiences.

Required:

  • Experience as a 0→1 hire navigating high ambiguity in early-stage startup environments.

  • Ability to build awareness and brand equity simultaneously from zero in competitive markets.

  • Hands-on execution across founder-led outreach, KOL activation, community platforms, and product launch platforms.

  • Experience directing and coaching marketing/GTM team members and contractors.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with consumer AI or hardware-adjacent startup launches.

  • Expertise in community-led or product-led growth (PLG) models.

  • Understanding of trust dynamics and market perception challenges for products with complex origin stories.

  • Established operator network and existing audience on X/LinkedIn.

  • Familiarity with "second brain" / PKM personas.

  • Bilingual capabilities.

About the Company

We're an early-stage startup in the consumer AI / ambient intelligence space, building a continuous system of context and direction that integrates AI into daily life — combining hardware, software, memory, and intelligence to help people offload routine tasks and be more present. We're currently in early access / beta and moving fast toward a public launch. The team is small, the stakes are high, and the opportunity to define a category is real.

Location & Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA. We expect regular in-person collaboration at our San Francisco office alongside flexible remote days.
