About the Role
We're a Y Combinator-backed, early-stage startup building a developer platform for healthcare workflow automation — helping healthcare organizations and AI automation companies automate complex browser-based tasks across payer portals and EHR systems where traditional APIs don't reach.
We're hiring our first dedicated business hire as a Founding Operator. You'll work directly with the CEO to build and scale every non-engineering function from the ground up — sales, recruiting, customer success, marketing, and events. This is a high-ownership, high-variety, in-person role in San Francisco for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, seed-stage environment.
What You'll Do
Sales & Outbound: Research prospects, run outreach sequences, book discovery calls, and support deal cycles targeting healthcare AI companies and enterprise revenue cycle management (RCM) firms.
Recruiting: Source candidates, manage hiring pipelines, coordinate interviews, and help close new hires across all functions.
Events & Community: Plan and execute networking events, dinners, and meetups in the SF healthcare AI ecosystem; represent the company at relevant conferences.
Marketing & Content: Shape positioning, draft outbound messaging, manage social presence, and help produce content aimed at healthcare operators and buyers.
Customer Success: Serve as first-line support — triage issues, escalate to engineering when needed, and ensure customers feel genuinely taken care of.
Operations: Manage vendors, internal tooling, and process documentation to keep the business running smoothly.
Strategic Partnership: Act as a true thought partner to the CEO, helping prioritize and execute across all business functions as the company scales.
What We're Looking For
Required:
1–4 years of experience in a high-performance environment — startups, consulting, banking, or similar — with a strong track record of ownership and output.
Demonstrated experience in outbound sales: researching prospects, running sequences, booking calls, and supporting deal cycles — ideally in healthcare AI or enterprise RCM contexts.
Experience sourcing candidates, managing interview pipelines, and coordinating hiring processes end-to-end.
Hands-on experience with vendor management, internal tooling, and process documentation.
Strong communicator with the ability to build rapport with C-suite executives, investors, and engineers alike.
Based in San Francisco or genuinely willing to relocate; must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available).
Nice to Have:
Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or selling to healthcare buyers — especially with exposure to revenue cycle management or healthcare operations.
Prior startup experience at seed or Series A stage.
Technical background or comfort with developer tools and engineering concepts.
Familiarity with outbound sales platforms such as Apollo or Clay.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $125,000 – $175,000 per year, depending on experience.
Early-stage equity participation.
Opportunity to be a founding business team member with significant scope and career growth.
Location
This is a fully on-site role in San Francisco, CA. Candidates must be based in SF or willing to relocate. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this position.
Visa sponsorship is not available. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
