The Work

We build the infrastructure layer that turns Apple hardware into elastic, developer-friendly compute for AI workloads. The work spans distributed systems, fleet control planes, machine provisioning and recovery, operating systems, networking, security, data center operations, hardware reliability, developer tools, and agentic engineering.

We are most interested in people who see around organizational boundaries: engineers who understand operations, operators who automate, and builders who can take an important problem from first principles through production.

What We Look For

• Exceptional evidence of building, operating, or improving difficult systems.

• The ability to take ownership of ambiguous problems and drive them to measurable outcomes.

• Strong technical or operational judgment, particularly around reliability, security, and recovery.

• A clear point of view about where Mount Thor should go and how you could help us get there.

• Effective use of AI and software agents to increase the speed and quality of your work.

Mount Thor makes Apple hardware—macOS and Apple Silicon—available and performant at datacenter scale for AI workloads. We take consumer hardware and build the infrastructure platform around it to enable consumption as elastic compute exposed through developer-friendly interfaces. Our customers use us to develop computer-use model capabilities, deploy long-running agents, and accelerate agentic engineering.
