Triumph is a rare company that sits at the intersection of technology, entertainment, and culture. We believe in the financialization of everything. Two products, one thesis: Arcade for skill-based gaming, Rips for collectibles. Both apps are #1 in their respective App Store categories.

Our team is elite — ex-quant traders, ex-founders, artists, world champion video game players, and more. We build games users interact with billions of times, on financial rails handling billions in volume. We're out to build the next $100B entertainment platform, where real stakes meet novel consumer experiences. Your work will enable the people building for those millions of users — some of the greatest artists, entertainers, and operators of our generation, alongside some of the best minds in product, growth, and engineering.

The Role

As Triumph's first dedicated IT hire, you'll stand up our entire IT function from nothing. Until now, IT has been absorbed by whoever was closest to the problem — you'll be the first person whose whole mandate is to build it properly. That means networks, identity, endpoints, meeting rooms, and the physical buildout of our offices, all of it greenfield. This is a hands-on building role: you'll be in the wiring closet and in the Okta console, not triaging a ticket queue. Once a system is built and the workflow around it is real, you hand the day-to-day to the team that should own it and move to the next thing. This role reports to our Head of

Security. It has no direct reports today — it's for someone who wants to design and build the foundation every future IT hire inherits.

What You'll Do

  • Build out our corporate network end to end — VLANs, switching, segmentation, and WiFi across both offices.

  • Own endpoint management and device lifecycle across the fleet, from provisioning through MDM to patching and clean deprovisioning.

  • Stand up and mature our corporate identity program on Okta, driving SSO and MFA coverage across an expanding set of SaaS applications.

  • Build the identity lifecycle process end to end, so a new hire is fully provisioned on day one and fully deprovisioned the day they leave.

  • Design and deploy AV and conferencing for our meeting rooms, so Google Meet and Zoom just work every time.

  • Run the physical buildout of office space — fiber, cabling, subcontractor and vendor coordination, and WiFi from empty floor to working.

  • Automate the mundane. Use AI aggressively to take repetitive IT work off the board — provisioning, access reviews, ticket triage, asset reconciliation, reporting — so the function scales without adding headcount, and design the human checkpoints for the steps where being wrong is expensive.

  • This role is onsite, splitting time roughly evenly between our San Francisco headquarters, our Mountain View office, and potential future office locations in the South Bay. Commuting between offices weekly will be required.

Qualifications

  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of corporate networking (VLANs, switching, WiFi), endpoint management (MDM, device lifecycle), and identity platforms like Okta (SSO, MFA, RBAC).

  • A track record of owning infrastructure projects end to end and then handing the ongoing operation to the right team — you build systems, not queues.

  • Comfort with physical office buildout: network cabling, fiber runs, and coordinating contractors on site.

  • You think in programs rather than tickets, and you're equally happy with a terminal or a cable tester in your hand.

  • Fluency with AI tooling as a daily working habit, not an experiment. This is a core competency for the role — we expect you to reach for automation before you reach for a runbook, and to have real examples of mundane work you've eliminated rather than absorbed.

  • Equally, judgment about where AI falls short. You know which decisions can be handed to a model and which need a person in the loop, and you design the checkpoint deliberately rather than discovering the need for it after something goes wrong.

  • Comfort being the first and only person in a function — you're excited to set direction rather than inherit it, and you drive work to completion without a playbook handed to you.

  • Interest in growing into security-adjacent work over time — device compliance, access governance — while keeping the core IT foundation as the priority.

Why Triumph?

  • Opportunity to build a scaling consumer mobile app that touches gaming, finance, and social (we build all of our games in house).

  • Small, high-impact engineering team that is scaling up.

  • Passionate team that is proud of our work.

  • 16x year over year growth.

  • Competitive salary and benefits ($400/mo lunch credit, healthcare, vision, dental, 401k, etc.)
