The Lateral Legal Recruiting Coordinator provides support to the Lateral Legal Recruiting Director, Lateral Legal Recruiting Managers(s), and local office Legal Recruiting Departments as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:Â
Works with the Lateral Recruiting Team and Practice Groups to identify and respond to lateral hiring needs.
Monitors active lateral job postings and compiles packets of new applications for the Director, Manager(s), and hiring partners to review.Â
Assists in scheduling interviews, greeting candidates, collecting evaluations and preparing offer letters as needed.
Develops and maintains relationships with search firm recruiters, communicating with them about candidates’ statuses, and assists in tracking the status of placement agreements. Â
Prepares new lateral hires to receive pre-hire tasks from the Firm’s onboarding system.Â
Works with new lateral hires and internal departments to assure timely completion of conflicts and background checks.
Assists in scheduling and conducting orientation for lateral attorneys. Â
Assists with other projects as needed.Â
Education and/or Experience:Â
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredit university or college or technical school.
Demonstrated basic proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred:
Minimum of two years large law firm experience.Â
Proficiency in advanced functions of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience using a lawyer-focused applicant management system (LawCruit, vi, FloRecruit)

The target salary range for this role is:
$70,000 - $83,000 if located in California.Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
