The role

We are hiring our first Office Operations Manager to own the day-to-day experience at our San Francisco office.

This person will oversee onboarding and offboarding, office operations and facilities, and team events.

What You'll Do

  • Own day-to-day office operations in San Francisco, including cleaning, maintenance, internet, security, access, supplies, and general readiness

  • Manage inventory of office supplies, snacks, meals, and equipment

  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers including building, IT, cleaning, catering, and deliveries

  • Run onboarding end to end, including paperwork, equipment, accounts, workspace setup, and Day 1 orientation

  • Handle offboarding logistics and documentation

  • Plan team lunches, celebrations, offsites, and other events that support connection without slowing the team down

  • Support visiting teammates, advisors, and investors with office setup, schedules, and logistics

Who We're Looking For

  • 1 to 4+ years of experience in people operations, office management, operations, hospitality, or a service-oriented role

  • Highly organized and reliable, with an ability to keep things running and notice issues before they become problems

  • Comfortable coordinating vendors, handling logistics, and managing multiple priorities at once

  • People-oriented and approachable, with teammates naturally coming to you when they need help

  • Good taste in food, events, and details that cultivate warmth in the office
