  • We are seeking a Performance Marketing Associate/Manager with 2-5 years of experience to join our Growth team.
  • The role involves managing paid acquisition for a portfolio of merchants, optimizing performance, and driving scalable growth.
  • The starting salary for this full-time position is between $100,000 and $160,000, along with equity and additional benefits.
  • Candidates should have hands-on experience with platforms like Meta and Google and a proven track record in improving customer acquisition costs.
  • The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly analytical, execution-oriented Performance Marketing Associate/Manager to join our Growth team. In this role, you will own the day-to-day management of paid acquisition across a portfolio of Fragile’s merchants—deploying capital, optimizing performance, and driving efficient, scalable growth.

This is a high-impact role with real decision-making authority. You will manage meaningful budgets (primarily on Meta to start), directly influence CAC and revenue outcomes, and see the immediate impact of your work.

Working across a portfolio of leading consumer brands, you’ll audit performance, identify opportunities, and design and execute experiments across creative, targeting, and funnel strategy. You’ll partner closely with merchants to align on goals and build durable, mutually beneficial operating models that unlock sustained growth for both sides.

What You Will Do

  • Own paid acquisition performance: Manage and optimize day-to-day performance marketing campaigns across key channels (e.g., Meta, Google) for a portfolio of merchants, with direct ownership over budget allocation and results.
  • Drive CAC efficiency: Continuously identify, test, and scale strategies to reduce customer acquisition cost (CAC) while maintaining or improving volume and quality.
  • Lead Creative Production: Manage a team of creative agencies to help produce direct response-focused ads that fight creative fatigue and drive improved performance over time.
  • Collaborate with merchants: Work closely with merchant partners to align on goals, share insights, and co-develop strategies to improve marketing performance and overall unit economics.
  • Scale what works: Systematically test new channels, audiences, and creative strategies—then operationalize and scale winning approaches across accounts.
  • Partner cross-functionally: Collaborate with internal teams across creative, data, and operations to improve campaign performance and execution quality.
  • Build playbooks and systems: Contribute to developing repeatable frameworks, testing methodologies, and best practices that improve performance across the portfolio.

Who You Are

  • 2-5 years of experience in performance marketing, growth, or a related role with direct ownership of paid media budgets and outcomes
  • Hands-on experience managing campaigns in platforms like Meta and Google, with a strong understanding of performance levers (creative, targeting, bidding, attribution)
  • Proven track record of improving CAC and driving efficient growth through structured testing and optimization
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret performance data and quickly translate insights into action
  • Comfortable operating in-platform and owning execution, not just strategy
  • Strong understanding of funnels, conversion drivers, and how marketing connects to business outcomes
  • Clear communicator who can translate performance insights into compelling narratives for internal teams and external partners
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • Thrives in high-ownership, fast-paced environments where speed and iteration matter
  • Comfortable working with external stakeholders (merchants), building trust quickly, and influencing decisions through data-driven insights and clear communication
  • Experience or heavy interest in e-commerce; speaks the language of performance marketing, conversion rates, PDPs, customer retention, etc.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with creative strategy and performance-driven content development
  • Experience managing multiple accounts at once
