Summary
As a Production Operator in Traditional Services, you will play a key role in supporting the accurate and timely processing of legal documents and correspondence. This position is responsible for executing high-volume document production tasks within a fast-paced legal services environment, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency at every stage of the workflow.
As a Production Operator, you will: Be a critical member of the Traditional Services team, supporting attorneys, paralegals, and clients by producing accurate, professional legal documents. You will follow established procedures and quality standards while handling sensitive and confidential materials with discretion and care.
Responsibilities
- Process and produce high-volume legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, transcripts, and court filings
- Operate production equipment and software systems used for document processing, scanning, printing, and binding
- Review completed work for accuracy, formatting, and compliance with client and firm-specific guidelines
- Prioritize and manage workflow queues to meet established deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all production activity
- Identify and escalate quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or workflow bottlenecks to the appropriate team lead or supervisor
- Adhere to all confidentiality protocols and data security standards
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to ensure seamless document delivery
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline production processes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or some college preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in a document production, legal support, or operations role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with document management systems a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; flexibility for occasional overtime or shift adjustments as needed below.
