Recruiting Coordinator

Responsibilities

We’re building an exceptional team, and hiring is one of the most important things we do. As we scale, we’re looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to make our recruiting engine faster, sharper, and more reliable.

This is not a role where you simply manage calendars. You’ll own the operational backbone of recruiting: keeping candidates moving, creating an exceptional experience at every touchpoint, and making sure nothing gets dropped as the company grows. You’ll work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and leadership and have the opportunity to improve how we hire, not just operate the process that exists today.

The best person for this role is exceptionally organized, moves quickly, communicates clearly, and takes ownership without waiting to be asked. You notice problems before they become problems and leave every process better than you found it.

In this role, you will:

• Own interview coordination end to end. Schedule complex interview loops across candidates, interviewers, executives, time zones, and formats while keeping the process moving quickly.
• Own the candidate experience. Be a responsive, thoughtful point of contact throughout the interview process and make sure candidates always know what happens next.
• Keep every process moving. Track interviews, feedback, next steps, and outstanding actions. Follow through relentlessly so nothing stalls or gets dropped.
• Solve problems before they escalate. Anticipate scheduling conflicts, interviewer changes, candidate constraints, and other logistical issues and resolve them quickly.
• Maintain exceptional recruiting data. Keep our ATS and recruiting systems accurate and current so the team can trust the data and understand exactly what is happening across the funnel.
• Find and eliminate operational friction. Identify repetitive work, unnecessary steps, and bottlenecks, then automate or redesign them.
• Use AI aggressively. Experiment with new models and tools to automate recruiting workflows and help us operate with significantly more leverage.
• Support recruiting programs as we scale. Help with interviewer training, candidate events, onboarding handoffs, reporting, and other projects that strengthen the overall hiring engine.
• Build beyond the role. As you develop context and judgment, take ownership of increasingly ambiguous recruiting and People problems.

• You have 2–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, recruiting operations, executive coordination, People operations, or another fast-paced operational role.
• You are exceptionally organized and can manage many simultaneous workstreams without losing track of details.
• You move quickly and naturally create urgency around things that are stuck.
• You communicate clearly, warmly, and professionally with everyone from candidates to executives.
• You have strong judgment and know when to solve something yourself versus escalate it.
• You don’t just follow processes - you notice when they’re inefficient and want to improve them.
• You’re excited about AI and constantly look for ways technology can make you more effective.
• You’re comfortable operating in an environment where priorities change quickly and the answer is not always obvious.
• You want significantly more responsibility over time and view this role as a place to develop into an exceptional recruiting or operations leader.

To support close collaboration, this role is based in our San Francisco headquarters and requires in-office attendance 5 days a week.

The expected base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $125,000 USD. In addition to base salary, we offer equity and benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
