Sonic Summary

This position is a 10-hour variable day shift role located at China Basin, with the potential to float to other campuses.
The role requires the utilization of the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure safe, therapeutic care for patients.
The RN will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, performing nursing care for patients with complex needs under supervision and assisting in managing patient care administered by other nursing team members.
Responsibilities include preparing patients for Radiologic procedures, providing care during the procedures, and managing patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.
A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required, and the salary for this position is competitive based on experience.

This is a 10 hour variable day shift working at China Basin with the ability to float to other campuses

Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.

The RN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team caring for patients who are undergoing procedures or exams in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at any Radiology site. The RN carries out established nursing procedures to prepare patients prior to Radiologic procedures, during the procedure, and following the procedure. The RN assists with the management of patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.
