As the lead Research / Data Scientist, you will spearhead a high-profile retrospective analysis with a premier medical institution. You will sit at the intersection of applied machine learning and clinical research, transforming messy healthcare data into compelling evidence that influences surgical leaders and executives at top-tier health systems globally.

What you will do:
Lead end-to-end retrospective analyses including cohort definition, feature construction, and predictive modeling using clinical datasets.
Collaborate closely with surgeon advisors to pressure-test assumptions and ensure the clinical relevance of your findings.
Translate complex statistical results into clear visual narratives and slides that articulate clinical, operational, and financial impact.
The ideal candidate:
Strong background in applied ML and statistics (Python, SQL, survival analysis) with hands-on experience in healthcare data like EHRs or claims.
Pragmatic, fast-moving executor who prioritizes actionable insights and real-world delivery over academic perfection.
Exceptional communicator capable of engaging directly with clinical stakeholders to iterate on research questions and translate results into strategy.
