You will bring customer research, win/loss evidence, product usage insights, and market signal to the work, and you will own turning the agreed direction into the words that reach buyers.
  • Support buyer and segment clarity. Help Product and commercial leadership sharpen ICPs, personas, use cases, and buyer-journey assumptions by synthesizing customer conversations, win/loss signals, usage patterns, and deal feedback. You will turn those decisions into usable messaging, content, and sales guidance.
  • Run go-to-market for launches. Execute the launch process for new features and releases, coordinating across product, sales, and customer success so that every release lands with a plan behind it.
  • Drive commercial enablement. Create the pitch narratives, battlecards, one-pagers, demo scripts, and training that help sales and customer success tell a consistent story and win more often.
  • Bring customer and market feedback back to Product. Conduct customer interviews, gather market feedback, and synthesize product usage, win/loss insights, and competitive intelligence into recommendations that inform roadmap, messaging, pricing, packaging, and commercial decisions owned by Product and company leadership.
  • Be the voice of the market. Establish a repeatable practice for tracking competitors, buyer trends, and win/loss patterns, and feed that intelligence back to Product and commercial leadership, including as input to pricing and packaging decisions.

For both Empower and for RPX’s membership business,

  • Own the digital go-to-market motion. Develop and execute the digital programs that bring our positioning to market, including website messaging, landing pages, SEO, content marketing, email nurture, webinars, review sites, and targeted paid campaigns where appropriate. As our first dedicated product marketing and GTM hire, you will build practical programs yourself while identifying what should be scaled, systematized, or outsourced over time.
