Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Care in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to shoppers and staff. You will communicate professionally, report observations, and support a secure environment through teamwork and integrity. Pay Rate: $26.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, receiving areas, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas; report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
