About the Role

A fast-growing, Y Combinator-backed AI SaaS startup is hiring its first Senior Business Development Representative. The company builds AI-powered software that automates quoting, pricing, and order management for distributors and manufacturers in industries such as construction supply chain, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. You will be the initial touchpoint for mid-market B2B prospects, owning outbound growth and working hand-in-hand with the founding team to scale the sales funnel.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full prospecting cycle — from identifying leads to engaging and converting them via phone, email, and social media

  • Work directly with the CEO on high-impact sales initiatives

  • Experiment with and implement new inbound and outbound lead generation strategies

  • Develop deep product, market, and customer understanding to tailor pitches and close deals

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify and prioritize target accounts

  • Create and refine sales materials, scripts, and templates; lead internal knowledge sharing

  • Engage with prospects daily, build lasting relationships, and feed insights back to the product team

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a B2B SaaS or tech environment

  • Proven experience with multi-channel outbound prospecting and closing, targeting C-level executives

  • Proficiency with CRM and outbound prospecting tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and multi-channel outreach (phone, email, social)

  • Native German speaker — required

  • Experience delivering tailored pitches to senior decision-makers

  • Ability to perform market research to identify target accounts and refine outreach strategies

  • Ambitious, resilient, and thrives in a fast-moving, early-stage environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $50,000 – $100,000 USD annually

Location

This is an on-site role based in Munich, Germany. Candidates must be willing to work from the Munich office.
