Ayama has partnered with Andrew Ng’s AI Fund and a Fortune 500 energy leader to use AI to reshape how $10+ Trillion of heavy assets operate, are managed, and are maintained. With electrification driving rapid growth in energy and reshoring accelerating the build out of U.S. electronics and IT manufacturing, the company plans to close critical gaps by raising asset uptime & output as well as staff productivity. Ayama is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help drive the AI revolution into critical assets. This role will report directly to Ayama's CEO.

This is a high-impact, 0-to-1 opportunity for a Product Manager who sits at the
intersection of Renewable Energy and Operational AI. You will lead the transition of an MVP—currently in deployment with a Fortune 500 partner—to multiple deployments across large-scale industrial assets.  

This is a full-time hybrid role located in the Bay Area.  There is no relocation package budgeted for this role.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Strategic Roadmap: Design the product strategy to transition our MVP into a differentiated, scalable platform for real-world operations.
  • Direct Prototyping: Actively build and test prototypes for new features to
    accelerate the engineering loop.
  • Field-to-System Intelligence: Partner with Fortune 500 design partners to
    capture execution data and optimize operational schedules for high-value assets.
  • Full-Stack Collaboration: Lead alignment between business goals and a mixed on/offshore engineering team.
  • Stakeholder Presence: Confidently present product strategy and insights to management, high-value prospects and partners.


Requirements For the Role Include:
  • Domain Expertise: You must possess significant domain knowledge of
    renewables, power generation, or electric grid operations, specifically within asset management, performance or maintenance management.
  • AI-Native Workflow: Beyond conceptual knowledge, you are proficient in using AI tools for vibe coding, rapid prototyping, and advanced data analysis.
  • Startup Track Record: 0-to-1 experience taking a software product from MVP to scale within a VC-backed environment.
  • Hybrid Commitment: Ability to be in-person in Mountain View, CA, for bi-weekly team meetings.
  • Technical Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power
    Systems, Computer Science, or a related engineering field is strongly preferred.
