Job DetailsJob Location: San Francisco - San Francisco, CA 94102Salary Range: $21.00 - $26.00 HourlyQualificationsJob Summary We are seeking a dependable, energetic Server Assistant / Food Runner to support our restaurant team and deliver exceptional guest service. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized dining environment while ensuring timely and accurate food and beverage service. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Clear, clean, and reset tables; maintain dining room cleanliness throughout service Deliver food from kitchen to guests accurately and efficiently Support servers and bartenders with daily operations Set up and maintain buffet and bar areas, including ice, glassware, and supplies Stock and replenish glassware, silverware, beverages, and service items Prepare coffee, tea, juices, and assist with basic mise en place Monitor equipment and report maintenance concerns Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service standards Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests Assist as needed with side work and additional assigned duties Qualifications: Strong team player with a positive attitude Passion for hospitality and guest service Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and attention to detail Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Must possess a valid California Food Handler Certification and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification, or be willing and able to obtain both upon hire About Hotel Nikko San Francisco  Hotel Nikko San Francisco is a luxury property located just off Union Square in downtown San Francisco, with 532 guest rooms and suites, 22,000 square feet of meeting and banquet room space, and five food & beverage outlets: 24-hour Room Service, ANZU Restaurant and Lounge, Kanpai Lounge, Imperial Lounge, and Feinstein’s at the Nikko.
