Amazon Music's Partner Payments and Reporting team serves as the critical bridge between every listener and content partner, building end-to-end platforms that process every play activity and deliver accurate, on-time payments to music partners worldwide. These teams gather data from multiple internal sources, enrich it through sophisticated data pipelines, and deliver external reports while processing royalties at unprecedented scale using distributed systems and big data technologies. The teams are building multiple products from scratch to support Amazon Music's continued growth, focusing on platforms that scale with business demands while solving some of the hardest technical problems in music licensing, vendor royalties, and partner data delivery.
Key job responsibilities

You will build end-to-end reporting platforms including critical data validations, data lakes, delivery systems, and audit mechanisms to ensure payment accuracy and completeness. You will be solving distributed system challenges involving big data processing, working at the limits of scale to handle billions of play activities and financial transactions.
You will collaborate across multiple teams including technology, business, and operational stakeholders to deliver projects that support music licensing requirements, and contribute to platform innovation by building new systems from the ground up that anticipate future music licensing demands and enable continued business agility, using Gen AI technologies. You will do this while ensuring data quality and reliability as the last line of defense between Amazon and external music partners, maintaining the trust of labels, publishers, and collection societies worldwide
