The Opportunity
The Director of Social Strategy for Creator and Creative Professional is a subject matter authority and leader responsible for shaping a cohesive social marketing vision for Adobe's Creative Suite of applications on social.
This role reports directly into the Global Head of Social and partners collaboratively with cross functional teams to seamlessly integrate social-first programs into broader marketing objectives, ensuring impactful product launches, audience engagement, impactful programs and activations, and driving measurable results and business impact.
What you’ll do:
Develop and implement comprehensive social marketing programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Product Management, Brand, Communications, performance marketing, web and Community.
Serve as the primary point of contact for integrating social strategies into larger marketing plans, working with multiple cross functional partners.
Champion social for key audiences.
A robust understanding of the creative profession and creator audiences.
Can gather and use audience data to build audience-centric strategies that deliver business value.
Drive platform/channel strategies to achieve brand consistency and optimize audience engagement across social platforms.
Develop clear creative briefs that inspire world-class social creative.
Pioneer innovative and new approaches to social marketing designed to drive awareness and product trial/use.
Lead go-to-market strategies for product launches, balancing paid, owned, and earned media efforts.
Write clear briefs for creatives that inspire and shape great social-first work.
Partner with Growth & Measurement teams to assess the success of social and influencer initiatives, optimizing for return on investment and impact.
Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of creativity, partnership, and accountability.
Supervise social media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation to achieve campaign goals.
Stay ahead of platform innovations to keep our creative applications across mobile, web, and desktop top of mind for social audiences.
What you need to succeed:
Proven experience in social media strategy and program management, preferably in a leadership role.
Experience developing creative briefs
Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience engagement tactics.
Strong communication and partnership skills to align cross-functional teams and collaborators.
Demonstrated expertise in coordinating budgets and using data-driven insights for performance optimization.
Ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team.
Analytical mentality with the ability to measure, interpret, and act on performance metrics.
Forward-thinking approach to identifying and using emerging social media trends and technologies.

Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $150,700 -- $267,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.Â
In California, the pay range for this position is $184,800 - $267,600At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
