The Opportunity

Reporting to Adobe’s Global Head of Social Media, the Director of Social Intelligence will lead Adobe’s overarching social media intelligence and listening strategy and use data to inform key programs and initiatives. This senior leader will lead the company’s proactive and reactive social intelligence, social, cultural trendspotting, and related analysis to inform social strategy and content.  

What you'll do

  • Drive overarching social listening strategy to surface and analyze online conversations and trends related to our brand, our products, and our industry

  • Develop and refine our social intelligence innovation approach and strategy

  • Drive our strategy for cultural and contextual social intelligence

  • Lead our approach to social listening and social audience intelligence

  • Provide data to drive creative and strategic platforms

  • Present findings and data to senior collaborators and executives

  • Build custom social intelligence dashboards and reports to surface and share real-time insights on brand health and affinity, brand-relevant conversations, cultural moments/trends, and industry landscape

  • Sift through millions of data points to surface actionable insights related to customer behavior and social media trends to identify target audience segments and support the development of strategies to engage and attract them

  • Work with multiple API’s and disparate data sets

  • Leverage social listening tools to find opportunities for engagement, monitor/flag issues, and inform advise cross-functional teams including Product, Comms, and Customer Care.

  • Partner with social media measurement group to empower outstanding social listening practices and consistent, concise reporting

  • Lead relationships with contractors, vendors, and platform partners

What you need to succeed

  • Extensive experience in leading social listening/intelligence for large organizations with high conversation volumes

  • Extensive experience with translating social, cultural and contextual intelligence insights into actions

  • Expert-level proficiency with creating queries, building dashboards, and evaluating data from social listening tools/platforms, including Sprinklr, Brandwatch, and Talkwalker

  • Robust expertise in crafting insights and action from social metrics and reporting, including synthesizing results for executive-level audiences

  • Proven track record for seamlessly working across different teams and partners

  • Ability to provide clear plans and strategies for sophisticated issues

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Experience driving action and execution during moments of crisis

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $150,700 -- $267,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $184,800 - $267,600

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
