Porter

Summary 

Perform general and deep cleaning of assigned work area.  Vacuums, dusts, and polishes in public and employee areas.  Perform general and deep cleaning of restroom facilities.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Clean slot machines from top to bottom
• Empty and clean ashtrays.
• Mop floors as needed
• Move slot chairs away from machines for cleaning and vacuuming purposes.
• Vacuum, as needed.
• Re-stock supplies in restrooms both public and employee.
• Re-stock supplies in all storage areas.
• Remove gum from carpet and floors, as needed.
• Empty trash containers on the casino floor and offices, as needed.
• Clean toilets, sinks, and restroom floors, as needed.
• Clean employee break room, as needed.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the property.
• Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.

Education / Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred. 
• Six months of previous experience using cleaning supplies, preferred. 
• Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Must possess excellent verbal communication skills in order to promote positive and professional image.
• Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.

Certificates, licenses and registration

• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license. 
• Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
