Summary

The Promotions Coordinator handles all casino promotions and promotion related special events created by the Marketing Department at Soboba Casino Resort

Duties/Responsibilities

Implement and execute all on-site and off-site casino promotions, such as drawings and giveaways.
Knowledgeable of all casino promotions, special events and entertainment offerings.
Provide excellent verbal and written communication to effectively interface with guests and team members.
Consistently provide an elevated guest experience by addressing inquires, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Work with Marketing Management to coordinate creative promotions and accurate advertising.
Prepare notifications and submissions for STGC Regulatory Compliance.
Ensure compliance with policies & procedures, game rules & regulations and internal controls.
Able to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Work a flexible schedule, under limited supervision. Schedule will vary based on monthly promotion schedule.
Have stage presence; speak clearly and confidently, display positive body language and facial expressions.
Maintain excellent grooming and personal conduct according to Soboba Casino Resort standards.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education / Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
A minimum of two (2) years marketing, casino promotions, or guest service experience, required.
Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and able to learn and operate industry software and programs.
Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.

Certificates, licenses and registrations

Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
