Job Description

Summary

Provides direction and support to the Regional Sales Managers within the West Business Area to develop strategic plans within the each specific region of responsibility, to further relationships with Integrators, end customers, and Distributors, to drive revenue through long term activities and objectives. Ideal candidate should reside within a reasonable driving distance from the San Jose Axis Experience Center

Summary

Provides supervision, direction, mentoring and support to the Regional Sales Manager within the Area to drive sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain current and future strategic sales direction

  • Build an exceptional outside sales team

  • Supply regional team with support in various types of external and internal interactions

  • Maintains strategic relationships throughout industry

  • Analyzes and reports on pulse of the industry

  • Make decisions on project pricing within assigned approval levels

  • Prepare sales reports for weekly review

  • Provide and encourage feedback from regional team and customers

  • Maintain fluid relations between Regional Sales Managers and all other sales and business development functions

  • Consistently update all departments of sales and pending goals

  • Ensure firm adherence to policies across the Area

  • Perform other related duties when assigned

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, security industry is a plus

  • 5+ years in sales

  • 3+ years in managing remote staff

Valued but not required skills or experience

  • MBA or Masters degree in related field

  • Work in large team with shared goals and responsibilities

This position Reports to:

            Business Area Director

  • Expected travel time for this position is approximately 70% annually.


We will review applications continuously; we are planning the first screening interviews from the 16th of February with a target hire date the first weeks of April. The recruitment process will include a phone screen with the Hiring Manager, HR and fellow Area Sales Managers. The second round will entail a face to face meeting with the Hiring Manager if possible or an additional Area Sales Manager. The Final round will consist of an in person final presentation, followed by two virtual interviews with the Director of Sales & Director of HR.

Salary Range

$190,000-$210,000 OTE (Dependent on location, education and experience)
