We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide/Kitchen to join our kitchen in providing exceptional food service within a hospital setting.  The ideal candidate is a passionate kitchen server who can work in a fast-paced environment with a pleasing personality and the ability to work in a team for our Dietary Department.Â
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in food preparation and serving meals to residents.
Ensure that all dietary restrictions are followed according to residents' needs.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
Set up dining areas before meals and clean up after meals.
Support the dietary team in inventory management and ordering supplies.
Document and monitor food intake for residents as needed.
Communicate effectively with residents to determine their food preferences and comfort levels.
Assist in training new dietary staff members as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience as a Dietary Aide/Kitchen is a preferred
Previous experience working in a healthcare or hospitality setting as a dietary aide/kitchen or cook is a plus
Interest in working with the geriatric population
Food Handler Certification is preferred
Ability to work in fa ast-paced environment
Ability to prepare meals in accordance with specific dietary restrictions or special needs
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
Excellent multitasking and time management skills
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required to effectively interact with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and referral sources.
