Summary
At TAEC we work with datacenter customers who have large fleets of our Hard Disk Drives. We are always improving our ability to monitor and analyze the health of drives deployed in such datacenters to address issues before they happen and to improve the reliability of the drives. As a Data Analyst Engineering Intern at TAEC, you will help build the tools to achieve these objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Help maintain and improve software tools to ingest complex, large, and numerous logs into PostgreSQL databases.
- Modify existing parsing/database code when there are changes in the log format.
- Build out Azure resources to continue migrating our infrastructure to the cloud.
- Be an up starter and help come up with ways to improve our systems.
- Explore AI/ML tools on Azure
- Look for ways to improve our existing code. Test cases, error handling, logging, optimizations, etc.
Requirements
- Good understanding of Python, NumPy, Pandas, matplotlib, and some understanding of SQL (currently using PostgreSQL)
- Currently pursuing an Engineering degree. Ideally Computer Science.
- Able to use git and collaborate on coding projects
- Writes organized and legible code
This is a temporary employment recruitment reporting to the VOLT Agency.
Salary: $35 - $40/hour
